Since 2020, we’ve been proudly supporting pet parents throughout the Forest and Lynchburg area. Motivated by a passion for animals and deep understanding of quality pet care, we continue to serve a growing client base and expand our service offerings to meet their needs. Traditional Daycare

Additional $10/day
Doggy Daycare
Doggy daycare is Monday through Saturday with the hours coinciding with the hours of operation section above. We do not have daycare on Sunday. When the dogs are here they will be rotated through rounds outside. Enrichment is catered to your dog and reduces behavioral issues. If you are not a current client, you will need to book an interview for your dog.
Boarding Packages starting at $45/night per dog
$5 off/night shared kennel with 2 or more dogs
Boarding Per Kennel
Your pets will be well taken care of when they stay here. If you would like, they can get socialization with other dogs, or not, while staying here. We provide different boarding packages which include yard time outside for the dogs, as well as walks if needed. If you are not a current client, you will need to book an interview for your pet before you decide to board with us.
Packages starting at $20/night per cat
Cat Boarding
We have a room separate from our dog rooms just for cat boarding. We have condos for each cat, or if you have two, they can share. We rotate the cats so each has some time out of the condo. Each package offers a variety of access to different activities for your cat to enjoy. We provide bedding and litter, but if there is a specific toy your cat may like you can bring that as well as their food.

Spa Packages
We offer a variety of spa packages for departing dogs. If you struggle giving your dog a bath, let us do it for you. Have your dog go home clean and smelling good after their boarding stay. Some of our spa packages also include a nail trim. If it's not time for a nail trim, no problem. We offer a spa package that does not include a nail trim. Memberships
We are now offer memberships for our facility. We have limited daycare memberships that include several different perks. Our facility also has a personal dog park that will be regularly maintained, as well as only allowing current Forest Pet Care clients to use it. This means dogs have to pass our interview process and pay the membership fee in order to have access.
Grooming
We are lucky to have two groomers in our building. They are completely independent from us, so appointments will be made through them. Prices are determined by your groomer. They currently have a waiting list. If you would like to be put on that waiting list please contact us. Current clients please contact your groomer directly.
Daycare Membership
1 / Traditional Daycare is $30/day
Traditional daycare is still available for the clients who are not interested in our enrichment services or in the daycare membership. These clients will receive their calendars on the 15th of every month to book for the following month to reserve their dog(s) daycare spot. This service will remain a first come first serve basis and will be based on our availability.
All week long clients will pay $135 instead of $150.
2 / Enrichment Daycare is an additional $10/day
Enrichment is activities that challenge a dog’s mind and engages their senses. An enrichment program focuses on mental, physical, and emotional stimulation, which ensures a well rounded experience for your dog(s). These activities will be catered to your dogs specific likes and will last as long as your pup stays engaged
3 / Doggy Daycare Membership
Daycare Memberships costs $30/month.
As a daycare member you will receive priority booking. Which means you will receive your calendar on the 1st of every month to book for the following month. Members have until the 15th to book/reserve/adjust your dog(s) daycare days. Members will also receive $5 off a night on boarding packages #2 & #3 and $5 off spa pkg #2 or #3. Your dog is guaranteed monthly nail trims and daily enrichment. You also receive a discount on the dog park membership.
4 / Dog Park Membership
$50/month for a non daycare member or $30/month for a Daycare Member.
This dog park is only for current clients of Forest Pet Care that have past the interview process. This park will be well maintained and have coded access. All dog park members will have to sign a waiver once they have signed up for the membership.
Non daycare members do have the option to pay for a full year access pass. Please talk to reception about this option.

Includes our enhanced dog care services, plus one daily enrichment activity based on your dog's likes/needs, private walks with a hooman, and one daily enrichment treat. *Package includes playtime & socialization.*

The Pawfect Stay
Includes our enhanced dog care services, plus one daily enrichment activity based on your dog's likes/needs, private walks with a hooman, one daily enrichment treat, and a 10 minute cuddle or pamper session per day. *Pamper sessions based on dogs' likes.*

FAQ
Common Inquiries
What if I can't make my reservation for boarding or daycare?
We require a 48 hour notice if you cannot make your boarding reservation. If we don't receive a 48 hour notice of cancellation, a no call no show fee of one night boarding will be put on your account. Please give us a call by 8 am if you will not be coming for daycare.
What do I do if I can't reach anyone on the phone?
Unfortunately, we do not always get to the phone in time to answer your call. If you leave a voicemail with your name, your pets name, a number we can reach you, and a brief message on how we can help you, we will get back to you by the end of the business day.
What do you supply for overnight boarding?
You are welcome to bring your pets favorite toy, blanket, and bed if you would like. However, we do have bedding, bowls, cots, and toys if you do not want to bring anything but your dogs food.
How can I check on my pet during their stay?
You are welcome to call us anytime during business hours to check on your pet. We also have a work cell phone where we can send you photos of your pet during their stay.
My pet has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?
We have dogs with all special diets that come to stay with us. If your dogs requires certain additives in their food, we will do our best to accommodate for whatever your pet may need.
What if I am not a current client of Forest Pet Care?
First, we want to thank you for your interest in our facility! We require an interview with your pet and a separate trial day. This is for the safety of your pet and the safety of our staff. Before we can set up an interview, we require your pet to be spayed/neutered if they are older than 6 months. We also require your pet to be fully vaccinated. For dogs, we need their current Bordetella, Rabies, and Distemper vaccination records. For cats, we need their Rabies and Distemper vaccinations to be up-to-date. Please give us a call if you would like to set up an interview.
